What does a combined total of over 100 years of experience look like? Probably not what you think…

Led by Mark Brassey and his three sons, Tristan, Carl and Nathan, the team at Berwick believe it’s an honour to work in one of the most valuable, yet undervalued, areas of society - the social care sector.

With a mix of youthful energy and sage-like experience, the team at Berwick are dedicated to making you the best version of yourself. Many members joined the company at the completion of their education and remain at Berwick to this day, determined to continue the success of the company.

Our Story

We’ve been around since the 90s (we look good for our age, right?), but how did we get to where we are today?
From a shared office to surviving COVID and beyond, here’s how Berwick Care became a market leader in care home supplies.

1997

It all begins...Berwick Care shared their first office and warehouse with a building company owned by Mark (the founder!) We then sold our first-ever product: The Careflex Hydrotilt Chair.

2000

Tristan (Mark's son) becomes first full-time employee and claims his first (of many) order for Hygiene Disposables.

2002

The shop is open! With a fancy sign and everything - a proud moment.

2003

Mark closes the building company and joins Tristan full time. Estelle (Mark's daughter) joins the team, along with Carl (Mark's 2nd son) to make it a true family affair

2005

Berwick hires their first-ever non-family member...

2007-09

Company is incorporated and becomes ISO9001 accredited - the internationally recognised standard for QMS (Quality Management System).

2012-13

Launched the lean audit! We moved our premises and closed the shop in order to focus on improving our care home offering.

2015

Move premises again as our landlord planned to build houses in place of our warehouse!

2018

Our core portal launched! A bespoke system created by us to make things even easier.

2020

We survived Covid and opened a second 'bulk storage warehouse

2023

Completed our first 'Punch-Out' system integration with a customer and became ISO14001 accredited. A big year!

2025

Launched B-Eco and moved one more time, so we could all be under one roof while having space to grow. We also launched our app and introduced a 4pm cut-off for nationwide next day delivery. An even bigger year!

The Future

With plenty of room to expand, Berwick Care has big plans for the future. Our family is growing, and we want you to be a part of it!
